Highway Guardrail Upgrade
The Hume Highway, one of Australia’s busiest roads between Sydney and Melbourne, was recently upgraded in the Tarcutta area to improve roadside safety and reduce run-off-road crashes.

The upgrade needed a barrier solution that:

Solution and Results
RamShield® Guardrail was installed for MASH Test Level 3 compliance, 110km/h crash testing, and a 180mm narrow profile. Its design has a performance advantage over the old G4 guardrail.
